I always keep ingredients on hand for these so I have something to throw in when I didn't have time to plan a lunch or dinner, especially for the kids. We usually use crescent rolls, but this time I had a flaky pastry so we thought we'd give it a whirl. As an Amazon affiliate I earn money from qualifying purchases

I spray the foil (or just the sheet pan) in case the cheese oozes out, it makes the clean up very easy.
I cut the pastry into 8 pieces. You could do more or less. We laid 1/2 piece of cheese on each section, stuck on a full or 1/2 hot dog on each one and my little helper rolled them up.

We baked this for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees. I turned them at the end so they would brown on both sides. In a toaster oven, the time would be a few minutes less. Throw out some ketchup and mustard and you're all set!

My kids said they prefer the crescent rolls, but they liked these too! Enjoy!
